2. SMART BOOM CONTROL SYSTEM

The Smart Boom Control (SBC) system is a new digital control unit integrated at the boom tip of a loader crane, allowing crane operators to control the horizontal and vertical movements of the boom tip with just a single control lever. All that needs to be done is to move the control lever on the control panel, and PALFINGER’s PALTRONIC electronic control system will calculate the necessary movement combinations with the help of position and pressure sensors. As a result, a crane integrated with the SBC system can be operated very easily with unparalleled precision. TEC 7 crane series will have this system integrated as standard in the future.

3. ELECTRONIC CONTROL LEVER
L-cranes with top seats can now be controlled via an electronic control lever. This also allows for controlling the load detection system via the HPSC-Plus LOAD module without the operator needing to use a radio remote control. This lever can also be used to control the outriggers and auxiliary equipment of the crane. This means that the lifting capacity (HPLS) of the L-crane can, for the first time, be increased without the use of a radio remote control.
4. HPSC-PLUS STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM

The tried and tested HPSC stability control system is now being further developed into the HPSC-Plus Load system, a detection system that uses inclination parameters to maintain stability, thereby optimizing the performance and reach of the crane boom. HPSC-Plus Load interacts with the vehicle’s load status and calculates the inclination as well as corresponding factors to determine the maximum load that can be lifted in each case. HPSC and LOAD perfectly complement each other and automatically control stability maintenance – whether the vehicle is empty, partially loaded, or fully loaded. The operator does not need to perform any additional actions to activate or deactivate this LOAD module.

5. PAD-TOUCH

The new generation PAD-Touch control cabin for hook loader cranes combines the convenience of a control lever with the versatility and innovation of a touchscreen display. Here, the load movement feature is controlled via a new, extremely compact control lever, while all other functions are operated via a PAD-Touch touchscreen display.
